Report Released On Contaminated Base Water

This week, the government released findings concerning health risks created by chemicals present in hundreds of military water sources. The report examined illnesses that may be connected to slight or constant exposure, but didn’t focus solely on base contamination. The long-awaited Health and Human Services study on synthetic chemical substances called “Perfluoroalkyls,” found typically in military fire-fighting foam, is now available for public comment.
