Student Secretly Records California High School Class, Disgusting Military Speech By Teacher Goes Viral

Gregory Salcido, a teacher at El Rancho High School and the one exposed in the now-viral video.

A teacher from California is now facing severe backlash as a video captured from his classroom went viral on social media websites.

The video in question shows him berating and aggressively verbally assaulting a student who was wearing a sweatshirt with the Marine Corps Insignia.

School officials have since confirmed that the voice heard in the video is in fact a teacher: Gregory Salcido from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, California.

The video is quite disturbing.

Salcido’s comments were meant targeted not just at the student, but at military members everywhere.

“Don’t you ever freaking bring the freaking military into this classroom. I don’t understand why we let the freaking military guys come over here and recruit you at school. We don’t have pimps come into school.”

Additionally, the teacher finished off by saying that people who choose to pursue a path of military service “have no other options.”

In response to his comments, school board member Aurora Villon released a public statement.

“The statements made by this teacher do not reflect the values and beliefs of the El Rancho Unified School District. We are a community founded by military men and women and we have the utmost respect for the brave men and women who sacrifice so much to make our country great.”

Furthermore, Villon assured residents of the school’s county as well as reporters that the Board of Education is “working diligently and responsibly to resolve this situation.”

The student who released the video (who will remain unnamed for his protection) has since received several serious threats, according to his mother.

The Marine Corps Times reached out to the teacher for comment but he did not respond.
